Abstract (en)

Briefly summarizes recent approaches to the study of the Dutch artist and art historian, then focuses on five drawings by him, two of which were done during his stay in Italy. Points out that van Mander's frescoes in Terni are derived from Vasari's paintings in the Sala Regia in the Vatican.
