On the exhibition organized by the National Gallery, Prague, and held 13 May-12 Sept 1993 at the riding school of Prague castle. Exhibition and catalogue explored the collecting and patronage of European art in Bohemia, especially Prague, from the dispersal of the collections of Rudolf II during the Thirty Years' War to the founding of the first public painting gallery in Prague in the late 18th c. Paintings from the Czernin and Nostic collections were featured.
