Abstract (en)
Considers the New York-based Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang who curated the Chinese Pavilion at the 2005 Venice Biennale (Venice, the Chinese Pavilion, 12 June-6 Nov 2005). The first Chinese pavilion in the history of the Biennale featured the work of four artists: a sculpture by Liu Wei, a video installation by Xu Zhen, and a collaborative work by Sun Yuan and Peng Yu.
