Philadelphia Cornucopia (1982) is a large-scale environment created by Grooms for the Institute's large 50 foot square gallery in commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the city of Philadelphia. The concurrent exhibition, Other sculpto-pictoramas, documents seven of Grooms's previous large-scale installations, 1967-1982. Catalogue includes essays by Kardon, Carter Ratcliff and Carrie Rickey, and an illustrated chronology of Grooms's sculpto-pictoramas by Marincola. (Staff)
