Abstract (en)

On an exhibition of German photography created within the last 30 years. The works are characterized by experiments of expression, particularly in trying to break the borders between traditional media, e.g., painting, sculpture, etc. Each of the participating artists is briefly presented in an individual article written by Gary Garrels. Reinhold Misselbech explains the historic background of contemporary German photography in an accompanying essay. Includes a catalogue of all exhibited works.
