Catalogue published to accompany an exhibition of works by five North American artists who have lived and worked extensively in Japan over the past two decades: Daniel Kelly, Joshua Rome, Margaret Kennard Johnson, Sarah Brayer and Karyn Young. Includes an essay tracing the history of Japanese and western cultural interchange, from the mid-19th c. to the present, and short biographical sketches of the five artists represented.
