Reviews the design and building history of Edward Lovett Pearce's Dublin Parliament House (1729), now occupied by the Bank of Ireland, in the light of an unpublished memorandum (Dublin, National Library) of 1727-28 concerning the project, addressed by Pearce to a committee of the House of Commons.
