Abstract (en)

Focuses on a tapestry set of eight pieces, the History of Gideon, 1449-1453 (lost in 1794), used as the official tapestries in ceremonies of the Order of the Golden Fleece. Shows that Philip the Good identified himself with Gideon of the Old Testament.
