Abstract (en)

Discusses the provenance and some prints in a collection of 25 etchings by the 19th c. British printmaker and surgeon, donated by Julia Shaw Patterson Carnell, in 1944, to the Dayton Art Institute. The donation also included a portrait of Seymour Haden at 63 (1881) by Alphonse Legros.
