Abstract (en)

Studies a pendant with a Madonna and Child in onyx cameo and Anna and Joachim at the Golden Gate in enamel on the reverse (Metropolitan Museum, New York). Argues that it was made in Flanders at the court of Philip the Good, ca.1440-1450, as an ornament for a paternoster.
