On Walter Benjamin's last book, published in exile, under the pseudonymn Detlef Holz (editor). Consisting of 25 letters, purported to have been written 1783-1883, the book's layout and typography, old Gothic script, was a deliberate camouflage to aid its introduction and distribution in Nazi Germany.
