Abstract (en)
Examines landscape drawings by or here attributed to Agostino (as well as some paintings), distinguishing his manner from that of Annibale and noting especially the importance of the landscape drawings as models for use in the Carracci studio. Argues that Agostino had a more important role in the partnership with Annibale and in the Carraccesque reform of painting than he has been credited with.
