Abstract (en)

Assembles the writings known to date: more than 340 poetic texts and two plays, written between 18 April 1935 and 20 August 1959. Three-quarters of the poems have never before been published. An appendix contains manuscript journals 1893-1895, notes on art and painters, as well as isolated or undated sentences and fragments, in particular writings from before 1935. Among the exclusions are Picasso's correspondence and interviews, and inscriptions on his drawings or in his sketchbooks.
