Abstract (en)
Considers the phenomenon of the depiction of regular geometric solids in treatises of painters' perspective in the 16th through 18th cs. Argues that the reasons for the supreme status of the regular polyhedra lie in the intellectual nexus of philosophical mathematics within which painters' geometry came to be situated.
