Includes eight essays in scope by the following authors: Roberto Di Stefano; Silvana Di Stefano; Anna Maria Di Stefano; Lucio Santoro; Rosa Anna Genovese; Mario Alberto Pavone; Nicola Franciosa; Giuseppe Gargano. In addition to general issues, the following specific topics are treated: Amalfi cathedral and its 18th c. restorations; towers and fortifications; the diffusion of Solimena's style in the region; proto-industrial architecture; the basilica of S. Trofimena, Minori.
