One of two catalogues for the exhibition "Meraviglie dal ghetto", this volume illustrates Jewish art and ceremonial objects, chiefly 16th-20th cs., from Emilia-Romagna (ITA). Nine catalogue essays, including one on ghettos and other Jewish settlements in Emilia-Romagna (by Michele Luzzati), one on artisans in Emilia who worked for Jewish patrons (by Jadranka Bentini), and one on Jewish illuminated manuscripts, 13th-15th cs. in the libraries of the region (by Luisa Mortara Ottolenghi).
