Suggests Arcimboldi was involved in the preparation for Monza cathedral of a tapestry representing John the Baptist Preaching to Soldiers, Receiving the Ambassadors of the Hebrews, and Baptizing, fifth in a series of nine depicting the life of the Baptist (third quarter of the 16th c.; Monza, Museo Serpero).
