Discusses the production of the "sunflower and tulip" furniture, 1675-1725, in Wethersfield, Connecticut, challenging the traditional attribution of these "Connecticut chests" to Peter Blin. Deals also with the sunflower motif on cupboards in the Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven.
