Special supplement on conceptual art treats the development of conceptualism in the 1960s-1970s, and discusses its revival in recent art. Includes an introductory essay by Staniszewski as well as her interviews with artists Mel Ramsden, Jeff Koons, Jenny Holzer, and Mary Kelly; essays by artists Clegg & Guttmann, Joseph Kosuth, Ian Burn, Victor Burgin, and Michael Baldwin; statements by artists Barbara Kruger, Adrian Piper, Alfredo Jaar, General Idea, Muntadas, Dan Graham, and Robert Barry; and a number of artists' projects, including those created especially for this issue by Alfredo Jaar, Silvia Kolbowski, and Louise Lawler.
