Examines a pearl-knop drinking glass in the Kunstgewerbemuseum, Berlin (DEU). Argues that it was made in Venice in the early 14th c. rather than in the Near East. Discusses the issue of exportation of Venetian glass to the Caucasus, where the glass was discovered.
