Abstract (en)

On plaquettes which served as models for relief ornament on 16th c. metalwork objects: a lead plaquette, 1570, with a design appearing on a casket by Wenzel Jamnitzer, and two silver-gilt models for dagger handles, ca.1580, probably by Bartel Jamnitzer. Also discusses models for a tankard handle by Bartel Jamnitzer.
