Abstract (en)
On Nesstfell's machine, constructed ca.1755-1761, which simulates the orbits of the planets around the sun. The mechanism and its casing are made of brass, steel, lead, and glass. The mythological and allegorical wooden figures which decorate it are attributed to Johann Peter Wagner. The machine was recently restored to working order.
