Abstract
(en)
On the motif in Danish architecture of columns carrying a gallery, 1660-1850, found in royal Danish libraries and banquet halls. Disclaims that Rikssalen in the royal palace in Stockholm, begun in 1697, by Nicodemus Tessin II, was the source for the motif. Argues that Tessin was inspired by a Danish motif in connection with his project for Amalienborg palace in Copenhagen, 1694.
