Abstract (en)
Presents conclusions concerning Raphael's development from his Florentine period (1504-08) to ca.1513, on the basis of technical analysis of paintings in the Alte Pinakothek, Munich. Focuses on evidence regarding the Canigiani Holy Family of ca.1507 and its restoration; also includes data concerning the Portrait of a Young Man now identified as Umbrian, ca.1505.
