Exhibition organized by Nancy R. Versaci and Judith E. Tolnick presents 94 American modernist paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs, 1914-1919 by nearly 40 artists. Catalogue, conceived and developed by Kermit S. Champa, features nine essays on various aspects of the development of modernism in America during World War I (including the political and cultural climate, art collecting, iconography, representation in American abstraction, music, et al).
