Presents two pieces of Vincennes porcelain made ca.1749 as deliberate pastiches of Meissen porcelain: a tobacco jar with screw lid (Sèvres, Musée National de Céramique) and a teacup with saucer (private collection). Both pieces once belonged to manufacturer Jean-Louis-Henri Orry de Fulvy who was dedicated to defeating the importation into France of porcelain from Saxony.
