Explores the similarities and differences between the two American artists. Focuses on the fundamental similarities in the recent paintings by Jules Olitski and the life-size porcelain objects by Jeff Koons, including the use of tawdry colors, textures, and iridescence. Notes that both are "rapturously anarchic artists whose feeling for style and their respective mediums consistently defy the Beautiful".
