Abstract (en)

Selection of paintings, drawings and watercolors of the Hague school in the Haags Gemeentemuseum. Three introductory essays: Sillevis on the Hague school; Kraan on the recognition and the influence of the Hague school abroad; and Dorn on van Gogh's drawings of his Hague period (1881-1883). Catalogue entries with explanatory texts and reproductions of all works exhibited. Appended are small reproductions of all the works of the Hague school in the museum's collection.
