Identifies some typically Venetian Medieval forms of architectural decoration, such as patere and formelle with zoomorphic reliefs, and traces their dispersion along the upper Adriatic coast of Italy, 11th-13th cs. Illustrates examples of decorative sculpture from Padua, Ravenna and Rimini, including stone crosses.
