Discusses the representation of the Trinity in the iconography of the Baptism of Christ, 11th-13th cs. Refutes, on iconographic grounds, the suggestion made by Pierre Colman and Berthe Lhoist-Colman (Aachener Kunstblätter, 1984, 52, p. 151-186) that the 12th c. Mosan baptismal font from S. Barthélemy, Liège, is actually 10th c. Byzantine.
