Exposition d'un choix d'oeuvres empruntées à la collection de la Stiftung für schweizerische naive Kunst und art brut dont le rôle est de promouvoir ces deux dernières formes d'art suisse. Toutes les oeuvres exposées sont reproduites et accompagnées d'indication biographiques et bibliographiques. L'ouvrage est complété par une liste des tableaux ayant été offerts à la fondation, ainsi que par une liste des oeuvres mises à la disposition de celle-ci sous forme de prêt
