Abstract (en)

Draws attention to a group of anonymous primitive portraits, 1758-1805, of people from the region of Carnia. The paintings are divided among various public and private collections, especially the Museo Friulano di Arti e Tradizioni Popolari di Udine and the Museo Carnico in Tolmezzo. Provides a checklist of 26 portraits with comments and questions, from the author's correspondence with Gaetano Perusini.
