Argues that the lost panel painting from the Doria d'Angri collection in Naples was not a 16th c. copy after the scene of the Fight for the Standard in Leonardo's fresco of the Battle of Anghiari (Florence, Palazzo Vecchio) but Leonardo's own trial piece.
