History of the emblem of the town of Vinci and its association with celebrations of Leonardo since 1860. Includes an account of the replica of the Medieval seal, received by Armand Hammer in 1982 with his appointment as Seal-Bearer of the City of Vinci and the award of honorary citzenship.
