Examines the history of the Sasso di Glosina, the Santuario della Madonna (carved out of the rock in 1283, abandoned in 1787), and former settlements, especially Case Gasparri (Sasso Marconi). Discusses the creation of the Strada Maestra and the activity of quarrying and stone-cutting in the area.
