Studies pieces of cloisonné garnet jewelry, 5th-7th cs., designed to be viewed from two directions, especially some depicting a winged insect, when seen in one view, and an animal head, when seen the other way up. Compares several pieces with a gold and cloisonné mount from the Domagnano Treasure.
