On the artist's major piece of goldsmithing, the Court in Delhi on the Birthday of the Great Mogul Aurangzeb, 1701-1706 (Dresden, Grünes Gewölbe) with 165 sumptuously bejeweled miniature gold figures, a late Baroque work, commissioned by Augustus the Strong. Discusses the allegory of the work which has political and religious references.
