Abstract (en)

On Nordic art in the 19th c. and the issues discussed at the 1869 meeting in Gothenburg, such as Nordic cooperation and promotion of the arts. In light of those issues, raises the question if Nordic art has a specific sensibility as expressed, for example, in Romantic landscape painting.
