Earthworks of the shrunken Medieval village were surveyed and adjacent crofts dated to the 13th and 14th cs. Recorded three other possible buildings. Grass tempered Anglo-Saxon pottery discovered strongly indicates a presence on the site between the 5th and 8th cs. Majority of the pottery dated to between 1320 and 1380.
