Brief report on the beginning of restoration of the Castelo de S. João da Foz in Foz do Douro and the discovery of elements of the church of S. João da Foz designed by Francesco da Cremona, and of the palace of his patron D. Miguel da Silva. Notes also the discovery of remains of an 8th or 9th c. church.
