Abstract (en)

Discusses several of Anna Claypoole Peale's portraits including the one of Rosalba Peale, 1820, which Charles Willson Peale copied in his painting of James Peale (The Lamplight Portrait), 1822. Both paintings are in the Detroit Institute of Arts. Includes a partial genealogy of the Peale family.
