Argues that "extreme architecture is fragmentary," that "the cause of this lies in an imperfection or complication of function dictated by an expressive intensification or unilateral perfection of the formal aspect," and that "a congruency between form and function, i.e. in which both are raised to the level of perfection, must be achieved or the architectural duality raised to a new level."
