Concludes: "Questions remain open. Since rusticalisation is also the form in which the country inhabitant relates to the agricultural past, it is simultaneously an expression of urbanisation. If one sees both, one arrives at the potential of the image: the relation is both in space and in the process. All static elements in the social structures now become fluid, too, even to the point where they tend to dissolve the personal and the biographical identity. The individual is split like the atomic core; hence, the anxieties in the face of the process, and the need to cover it up by acting."
