Explores the role of geometric abstraction in postwar America in a presentation of paintings by 25 artists ranging from Josef Albers, Ilya Bolotowsky and Burgoyne Diller to Ad Reinhardt, Ellsworth Kelly, Kenneth Noland, Frank Stella and Peter Halley. A substantial portion of the works come from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery's collection.
