Uses the views (paintings, drawings) by Pieter Saenredam of the interior of S. Jan, 's-Hertogenbosch, and a hitherto unknown description by Matthieu Brouerius de Nidek from 1705 as evidence of the original aspect of the rood-loft by Coenraet II van Norenburch (1610-1613), now in London, Victoria and Albert Museum, and the choir stalls (ca.1430-1460).
