Abstract (en)

On the basis of new documents and drawings, discusses the form of the dome of the Norman abbey church of SS. Trinità, Mileto Vecchia, destroyed in 1783. Identifies the remaining ruins, known as the "Scarpa della badia", as a 17th c. supporting wall for the original facade.
