Abstract
(en)
Discusses the style and iconography of a two-sided panel painting in S. Agata, Cremona, with some elements of a Byzantine icon but significantly Westernized. It depicts the Madonna and Child on one side and scenes from the life of S. Agatha on the other, probably by two different Lombard artists (master and pupil?) of the late 13th c.
