Abstract (en)

Discusses a parocheth [parokhot], i.e. curtain for the ark, given in 1787 to the synagogue of Amersfoort by Frederica Sophia Wilhelmina, consort to William V of Orange. Argues that the curtain was made out of a state dress of the princess. The parocheth has been given by the synagogue on permanent loan to Museum Flehite, Amersfoort.
