On the social and political content of various prints and drawings from the 1890s by Kollwitz. Focuses on her lithograph series Weavers' Revolt (1897) and its dependence on naturalist literary and dramatic works, especially Zola's novel Germinal and Gerhart Hauptmann's drama The weavers.
