Presents evidence concerning the production, scale, form, and decoration of majolica in east central Italy in the late 13th and 14th cs. as seen in contemporary painting in the areas of Rimini and the Marche, especially the early 14th c. fresco of the Marriage at Cana in S. Nicola da Tolentino, Tolentino.
